GOVERNORS of All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday, warned the National Assembly to steer clear on legislation of local government autonomy in the on-going constitution amendment process, saying any attempt to legislate on any aspect of it would tilt the country towards a unitary state.
This was part of the resolutions contained in an eight-point communiqué released after five-hour closed door meeting held at the Presidential Lodge, Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital. The communiqué was read by Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State.
